Takayuki ITABASHI(D.C.3)
- Takayuki is now my graduate student and an associate professor of another university. His interests include studies on Kyodo-ka (Regional Studies in primary school) in 1920-30's Japan.
Ken'ichi NAGATA(D.C.2)
- Ken'ichi's interest is Social Studies Programs for conflict solving and Peace Education. He currently researches educational programs to solve real social conflicts., which include problem solving, debating, and the role-play method.

Yuta ONODERA(M.A.2)
- Yuta's aim is to reform teaching Japanese History in Japanese junior high schools. He now develops Learning Units and Tests simultaneously.
Jin'ichiro SAITO(M.A.2)
- Jin'ichiro now research on the origin of Social Studies. He focuses on the charactor of History education included in the report of The Committee of Seven in AHA (American History Association) , the beginning of 20 century. He tries to re-evaluate the charactor of the report against Ronald W. Evans' view of the report.
Makiko YUKISHITA(M.A.2)
- Makiko is interested in the internationalization in Japanese schools, such as how to care foreign students in Japanese Schools as well as the multi-cultural aspects within the classroom. She hopes to develop multi-cultural education which is specialized in Japanese primary schools.
Yoko SASAKI(M.A.1)
- After retiring from a her Junior High School English teacher position, Yoko joined our research laboratory and is now studying as a research student. Her aim is to develop a new method of teaching English for Japanese students and to cooperate with younger English teachers in regards to her new method of teaching English.

Enkh-Amgalan Onon
- Before coming to our research laboratory, Onon was a Japanese language teacher in Mongolia. She now researches both the curriculum and teaching methods of Japanese.
